More Than 30 Years In Business

Rose began quilting as a small girl and found that she loved sewing and quilting. After marrying Kenny and having her first child, Rose wanted to find a way to work and still be at home with her children. It was for that reason that she and her husband opened Pohlar Fabrics in 1987. For more than 25 years, Rose ran her business while raising her children.

Rose's daughter, Megan made her first quilt at the age of 9 and since then has designed many quilt patterns and Block of the Month series. When Megan was old enough, she began managing the shop for her parents. She brings a younger generation's perspective that has added new life to the shop.

Often described as a massive warehouse, Pohlar Fabric houses more than 7,000 square feet of Sewing and Quilting products–including over 7,000 bolts of fabric. They also carry the original pattern designs of both Rose Pohlar and Megan Pohlar-McGuire.

The Pohlar family and staff's goal is to help each and every customer to find exactly what they need to finish their current project or start that new project they’ve always dreamed of doing.
